What is the Yousend referral programme?

The Yousend Referral Programme rewards you for introducing new users to the platform. When a friend signs up using your referral code and completes a qualifying transfer, both of you receive a cash reward, directly into your Yousend wallets.

The Process

Step 1: Share Your Referral Code

Your unique referral code is available in the app under Invite & Earn. Share it with anyone who would benefit from using Yousend for international money transfers.

Step 2: Your Friend Creates an Account

Your referred friend downloads the Yousend app, registers a new account, and enters your referral code during the signup process. They must also complete identity verification before proceeding.

Step 3: They Complete a Qualifying Transfer

Once verified, your friend initiates their first cross-currency transfer that meets the minimum qualifying amount. Upon confirmation of that transfer, both accounts are credited automatically.

Reward Structure

Rewards are determined by the sender’s country of residence. Both the referrer and the referred friend receive the reward equivalent of £5/$10 CAD/₦10,000/10,000 KES, credited to their respective wallets upon completion of a qualifying transfer of £50/$100 CAD/₦100,000/100,000 KES or its local currency equivalent.

Eligibility Requirements

To ensure your referral qualifies for a reward, please note the following conditions:

• The referred individual must be a first-time Yousend user with no existing account
• The referral code must be entered at the point of registration. It cannot be applied retroactively
• The qualifying transfer must be a cross-currency transaction (e.g., CAD to NGN, GBP to NGN, etc.)
• There is no cap on the number of referrals you may submit

Monitoring Your Referrals

You can review the status of your referrals at any time. Navigate to Invite & Earn in the app and select Track Referrals to view pending referrals, completed referrals, and your cumulative earnings.
